Summer Camp 2017 – Day 5

Last day of camp! We had an easy and relaxing last day of camp. Sandra Lopez from The Sandy Hook Promise joined us and talked about bullying, school violence, and depression. We learned how to identify the warning signs of potential violence and depression within our peer group and what to do when we encounter these situations. Summer Camp 2017 – Day 4

Day four was filled with lots of time outside! We started the day with some outside energizing tag followed by finishing up our mural panels. After lunch we made our annual trip to Graeter’s for our ice cream fix. Sara Solarik from Concentrated Awesome lead us in a yoga clinic under the beautiful trees on the Otterbein Campus. Summer Camp 2017 – Day 2

We had an exciting and active second day of camp! We started off the day talking about passages in our Beautiful You books and what they mean to us. We then had a really fun soccer clinic with Megan Varney and Katherine Simone. Summer Camp 2017 – Day 1

We had a fantastic first day of camp! We started off the day with a team building activity, creating posters for our room. Tara Alexander came by and talked to us about finding our own style, how to be fearless and follow our dreams. Dr. Krendle, president of Otterbein stopped by and talked to us about the importance of having mentors and role models to help shape our future.
